silly thoughts (balam acab remix)
has anyone else noticed that the term ‘witch house’ seems to have all but disappeared from internets? i’m sure not a day went by a few months back when it was thrust down our ethernet cables. i never liked it anyway, and i’m sure the genre-hawks would have branded this remix with the same ugly brush.

i’ve had a keen eye on dynooo since sluga turned me onto him sometime last year, and more so since he launched the surf kill label with heavily slept on beat-scene-whiz cupp cave. their recent collaborative work as salted slugs is definitely in my highlights of 2011 thus far.

i was gutted not to be able to make it to sonar this year to see our guy niño rock the rbma stage, pete pitch tells me he smashed it, and by the sounds of this recording he ain’t far wrong. apparently there were a few technicals at the start so this is only the second half. get down and get synthy.
