i picked this album up a few weeks ago but only really got round to properly checking it this morning. if you need to liken it to something, in places you could say the stuttering beats and synths of samiyam, but the melodies are softer, more muted and soulful, less boom bap. i mean they’re not really that similar at all, to be fair it’s just great music, and it’s made my hazy monday morning a hell of a lot better. go check it.
it’s less concise, coming in at over 29 tracks (which i always struggle to give my full attention), but this split lp from last year with devonwho is also well worth a bash.
